Aled Lewis
One again, another t-shirt site. Sorry if the fact I have two in a row bothers you. This guy is good. He operates out of London, England and makes good shirts that make you think and laugh at the same time. He also has things that are produced through Threadless. What I like about his site is that he writes about each one of the shirts, something that other sites lack. He also posts his discarded ideas on flicker. One of my favorites is one of the astronauts on the “moon”, but one is leaving through a door “in the sky” implying that the landing was filmed in a studio. Clever idea. Cool T-shirt. Glennz
I found a terrific T-Shirt website. Glennz. All of the designs are done by the same artist. He operates out of New Zealand and has his shirts printed in Texas. His name (surprise, surprise) is Glen. The last NZ come from New Zealand. His site started out as a hobby when he began submitting designs to Threadless.com a few years ago. Since then he has become one of the most successful designers on Threadless with 21 shirts printed for sale. So he decided it was time to focus a bit more on designing tees. He teamed up with some friends in the US to start this range of T-shirts, calendars and laptop skins. He also uses his designs on greeting cards and artprints which you can buy from his NZ site. They are all funny and not all of them are cultural references some people might not get. They come in both t-shirt and hoodie form. I discovered this site from looking at the designers blog, where all his art work is displayed. Not all of his art are t-shirts, in fact, he has people vote which ones they think should be t-shirts. I highly recommend purchasing a t-shirt form this guy, or at least to vote for the art you like. It all goes to helping those starving artists of the world.
